The following is the text of a talk that I gave at this summer’s CUMC at McGill. It went pretty well, and ended with a good discussion on what’s going on in the world of math education at various universities across the country. Hopefully this dialogue will continue - perhaps through a wiki that Andrew Scaaf and I will be working on over the next little while.
